For unclear reasons, LinkedIn decided to block access to my account in July 2025 and keep it permanently locked, after I received an email that my password was successfully changed (while I was asleep). I cannot submit a government issued ID because my legal names don't match the name that I use in daily life and that everyone knows me by, and that I use on LinkedIn. LinkedIn currently does not appear to offer an option to submit a "same name affidavit" but I am in the process of trying to restore my LinkedIn account. Please be patient.
